As one of the industry's most respected broadcast sound engineers, Tim has worked across all musical genres and with everyone from the Police to Pavarotti via Metallica and everything in between.

Tim began his career at Mickie Most's RAK Studios, which was then one of the coolest places in London to record. He progressed through the ranks becoming an engineer for the studios and for the RAK mobile truck, one of the first mobiles in the UK. Tim soon became an expert in live sound recording and was quickly in great demand because he knew how to make a live band sound great on tape.

After leaving RAK, Tim went to Island Studios in Basing Street (now SARM West) and then on to Advision where he worked as a broadcast and studio sound engineer. He eventually ended up on the staff of Fleetwood Mobiles, running one of its two units and working with Ian Dyckhoff, who joined the company soon after he did.

Tim and Ian eventually bought the company and was with Fleetwood throughout its various reincarnations, which included a spell as part of the Sanctuary Group. He eventually left in 2008 to become part of the newly formed Red TX. He is renowned throughout the industry for his mixing and production skills and post production expertise. His studio credits during his time at RAK and Island included about eight albums and various singles with Status Quo, plus countless other album and singles projects encompassing pretty much all music genres.

A veteran of Fleetwood, Sanctuary and Manor Mobiles, Ian co-founded Red TX for two reasons: to take mobile recording into the next generation of the digital age and to get out of the office and back on the road.

Ian began his career in the mid-1980s when he joined Virgin Studio's Manor Mobile as a live sound engineer. There he worked on huge variety of events from an intimate film shoot with Tanita Tikaram on a remote Island in Norway to the epic show by Roger Waters performing The Wall in Berlin.

He subsequently joined Fleetwood Mobiles where he travelled the world recording all types and sizes of gigs including the award-winning Symphony for the Spire in Salisbury, Johnny Haliday's epic week of shows at the Parc de Princes in Paris and the St Lucia Jazz festival, where he converted an old mini bus into a Mobile Studio for the week long celebrations.

Ian also lived through Fleetwood's various reincarnations, before finally leaving in 2007 to establish Red TX.

As well as directing the day to day operations of the company, Ian is also the technical whizz who makes sure that the company's trucks are kept bang up to date and in perfect working order.

Ollie joined Red TX in 2008, bringing with him a wealth of experience in recording some of the biggest concerts of this century. He's our man with the solution to get any gig in the can!

Ollie began his career in sound by engineering at local venues for small bands. After getting some qualifications he worked in television, following camera crews around with a microphone and fish pole making documentaries.

Never content without a challenge, he contacted Ian and Tim, at the then Sanctuary Mobiles, and ever since he has been travelling the world recording festivals, award shows and stadium concerts.

In recent years, Ollie has been involved in coordinating the music recording and broadcast requirements for such prestigious events as the Concert for Diana and Live Earth, both at Wembley Stadium, and The Cream Reunion at the Royal Albert Hall., which earned the company a TEC Award for Excellence in Remote Recording. In 2009 he was also honoured with a Music Producers Guild Award for Best Live Sound Recording, for his work on the Girl's Aloud DVD Tangled Up.

Here at Red TX we believe in employing the right person for the job, so whenever a project needs additional staff we call on a team of trusted freelancers who are always happy to lend a helping hand. Many of these names and faces are familiar to those working in the business and they all have extensive experience in recording live sound for broadcast. We know we can count on them to deliver - and that means our customers can, too.
